HOW IS EACH PRINT UNIQUE? . . .

Each print is on a different page from real upcycled repurposed vintage books that have been discarded, so no two are exactly alike. As the paper comes from a vintage book, the paper has the patina of a very lovely warm golden, aged look. Also, as old books margins, positioning etc. might not be as aligned and straight as we are now accustomed to. Since we use pages from very old books, the paper might have some blemishes, spotting and imperfections, these slight defects add to the charm of the print. The result is a unique and absolutely beautiful print ready to pop into a frame. These prints are great conversation pieces and look gorgeous when hung on the wall. The actual book page you will receive will be a different page than that shown in the listing but it will come from the same book. The art/design will be identical to listing.

WHAT ARE THE PRINTS PRINTED ON? . . .

We only use discarded up cycled antique book pages from 1860's -1890's dictionaries and encyclopedias for our prints. Our sheet music pages come from discarded 1920's or earlier music scores. Music scores by their nature get a lot of handling and some pages might carry annotations or light pencil marks by the conductor. All of these add to the charm and authenticity of the piece. One of the great things about prints on re purposed antique book pages is not only the beauty and making for an interesting read but it also upcycled books giving them new life.

HOW OLD ARE THE BOOKS YOU USE? . . .

All our dictionary and encyclopedia pages are from 1860's - 1890's and are beautifully aged with a warm glow. All sheet music pages are from 1900's - 1920's. These antique book prints, full of interesting and forgotten information make awesome, unique gifts and are environmentally responsible. All prints are shipped flat in rigid, stay-flat envelopes and are protected in clear plastic sleeves with protective corners.

MATTES/ MOUNTS . . .

All our mattes/mounts are of the highest quality precision computerised cut beveled edge white core boards. Depending on buyers address when ordering ( unless requested otherwise) USA orders will be fulfilled with matte size 11 x 8.5 inches while all other orders from European and other countries who use A sizes will be fulfilled with standard A4 297 mm x 210 mm ( 8.26 inches x 11.6 inches ) mounts.
